We charge for heat pump maintenance per service, at a fixed price for the standard work: cleaning filters, checking components, going over refrigerant and pressure and re-optimising the settings. Anything that needs replacing we discuss with you first.
The short answer
An annual service usually pays for itself. A heat pump that is not set up correctly uses far more electricity without you noticing it in the temperature. If you want to be sure, during the service we show what the system does before and after balancing.
What it depends on
Our advice: do not compare on the bottom line alone. Check whether the same materials, the same warranty terms and the same work are included. A quote that comes out lower because the mounting structure or the grid registration is missing is not actually cheaper.
