With a heat pump the appliance alone does not set the price. The capacity, the type of source and above all the distribution system weigh heavily. Radiators designed for high temperatures give off too little heat at low flow temperatures and sometimes need replacing; we calculate that room by room.

A hybrid set-up that keeps your boiler is considerably cheaper than going fully electric and still covers most of the year. National subsidy is available for heat pumps, the amount depending on type and capacity. Always include it in your payback calculation.
What it depends on
